One of my favourite pieces. Aren't the little sheepies cute?

I was amazed with the details in this picture. Honestly I wouldn't be able to paint the stones in such detail!

And of course our first Christmas tree --- painted by Phil! (A friend from the art therapy helped in adding the shadow and I added the little presents later.) It's still standing in our living room, with a basket full of self-picked walnuts. I don't want to put it away yet. The red gives a bit of warmth to our white living room.

Oh, and this (huge) piece... Phil was very proud as he presented it to me. He said the whole art group liked it, and it took him quite a while to finish. But as his faithful art critic I had to be honest with him...It's just not my cup of tea...hahaha... And I promise him it will (eventually) be exhibited in our tiny bedroom. :P

My name is Chicken, but I am actually a girl :)

This is the village I am currently living in. I just formed a wohngemeinshaft with Holly. She's quite all right, I think.

Half way up the hill near home, I'm already out of breath... really need to go out more!

Sharp Island

The old fisherman couple who operates the boat between SaiKung Pier and Sharp Island (橋咀島).
Approaching the pier of Sharp Island, after a 15 mins boat ride.
The sand bridge linking the big Sharp Island and its small sister island is one of the attractions.
Sea plants that you can find everywhere on shore.
And of course countless shells!

(At around 5:30p.m.) Oh no! The tide is closing the bridge! Should set off earlier next time if you want to cross the sand bridge.

If you have good eyes you will get to appreciate the beauty of countless petite shells with fine lines and colours.
